aConnect recently provided the keynote speech on artificial intelligence and machine learning at the first ever HexaCon conference held by AlphaHive, the startup incubator launched by Wavetronix. AlphaHive represents the fulfilment of Wavetronix’ goal to provide a supportive environment for startups, with a focus on providing a business infrastructure along with mentorships and personal development programs.
aConnect specializes in applying AI to audio streams to eliminate background noises for teleconferencing, creating AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing or future teleconferencing products. Their keynote address focused on machine learning and was presented by aConnect founders Ben and Matthew Arnold. They also provided attendees with a live demo of new technology they are developing.
Additionally, attendees were inspired by research discussions, product demonstrations and a networking session. The conference was held in Springville, Utah at Hobble Creek Square, the new international headquarters of Wavetronix and permanent home of AlphaHive.
HexaCon is designed to educate and connect entrepreneurs in Utah’s Silicon Slopes, the internationally recognized hub of the state’s thriving startup and technology community. Other presentations included topics on radar technology, manufacturing processes, design technology and more.
“This is just the beginning. We are excited to be able to meet together in this fashion many more times in the future,” says AlphaHive director Dr. Larkin Hastriter. “AlphaHive will be seeking entrepreneurs in the next couple of years to create business opportunities surrounding some of our core competencies in radar, machine learning and electronics manufacturing. HexaCon will become an important tool in creating those connections.”
